Since 25 October 2026, Kayts doesn't create or change pictures. We switched it off ourselves, on purpose and for a while: to make it safe and to fix how it works before anyone uses it again. Adding photos to a message and asking what is in them works as before.
Why we paused it
Creating pictures came to Kayts on 21 October, on the Plus, Pro and Max plans. In its first days some requests tried to get around our rules, asking for sexual, revealing or degrading pictures of real people. Kayts refused them. But a refusal that depends on catching the right words is not good enough when the pictures are of people, so instead of patching the feature while it was running, we closed it.
What changed on 25 October
- No model in Kayts can make or edit a picture. Ask for one and it tells you so in a sentence, without pretending.
- The pictures made before were deleted, together with the storage that held them.
- Settings → Usage no longer has a row for images.
- From 8 November 2026 the Terms of Service (version 2026-10-25) no longer describe making pictures.
What the paid plans included
Until 25 October each paid plan came with a number of pictures a day, and a cap for the week. This is what is paused.

If you bought a plan for its pictures, write to support@kayts.ai: you can end it and get back the unused part of the month, as section 8 of the Terms provides.
What comes next
Pictures come back only once the fixes are in, and they will change how Kayts works with pictures in a way you will notice. Before we switch it on again, we will write here what changed and why.
